About Me

With over two decades of experience in mental health care, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and understanding. My approach is grounded in creating a personalized path toward healing, empowering you to live a more present and fulfilling life.

My Background

My journey in medicine began at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and my Medical Degree. I later moved to Portland to complete my psychiatry residency at Oregon Health and Science University.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of partnering with hundreds of patients on their healing journeys. These experiences have deepened my commitment to exploring innovative therapies that improve both mental well-being and life circumstances.

Recognizing the growing potential of psychedelic medicine, I pursued advanced training at the California Institute of Integral Studies, earning a Certificate in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy and Research. I also completed the Oregon Psilocybin Facilitator Training with Fluence and gained specialized expertise in mindfulness meditation, ecotherapy, psychedelic integration, and harm reduction.

Currently, I am working toward becoming REMS-certified to offer FDA-approved Spravato for treatment-resistant depression. My Portland-based practice blends traditional psychiatry with cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies, fostering a holistic approach to mental health that emphasizes balance, resilience, and self-discovery.

If you are in the Portland area and seeking a compassionate, tailored approach to mental wellness, I would be honored to support you on your journey to healing and growth.

Balancing Work, Family, and Nature

When I am not working with clients, you will find me exploring the beauty of Portland and the surrounding mountains. As a mom to two teenage boys, we spend much of our free time camping, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. Our adventures wouldn’t be complete without our loyal Cocker Spaniel, who’s always running alongside us.

Living in Portland has deepened my appreciation for nature’s role in fostering mental well-being, and it inspires both my personal life and my professional practice.
